I am an EFL teacher at Los Arcos Elementary School, Caracas, Venezuela. In my brief experience in the field of ELT, I have come across the arising need of being aware and up to date with the newest trends in Educational Technology. As a “digital native” myself, I have made some web 2.0 tools part of my everyday life. Likewise, I am working with the aim of making web 2.0 the escencial ingredient in my practice of language teaching.

Now, in order to share a little bit more about myself, I wondered which words would give you the closest image of me and among a vast range of them I chose one that describes me better than any other: Gabriel. If you hear this name, you may think of a tall and thin guy with black hair and eyes. What students say they like the most about me is that I have an outgoing personality. I’m peaceful, friendly and tolerant. No bragging allowed, though.
